Here's a render to "toast" in the new year! It is far from perfect, but I hope it captures some of the festive spirit of the occasion. I still have much to learn! Comments are welcome.
Wishing you all health and peace.

Another wonderful piece, BM.
Any chance we'll see an in-match image between these two beauties in the future?

Thanks for your reply Tim. I'm happy to hear this piece is well received and I'm glad you enjoyed the New Year dedication. I try to do a different one annually, altering the theme a bit each time.
I would love to do a render of Riho battling Mayumi and I'm honored by your request, Tim. I'm excited that someone else wants to see this fight...this should be good Poser practice! This also makes a good scenario because one fighter has some weight on the other. I'm willing to hear out some ideas for the scene? For example...types of punches being thrown? Blows dodged? Simultaneous hits? One beauty taking or giving the beating? Comments are welcome.

Hello again, BM. Yes, I really think this would make a great introductory match for your portfolio!
To set the scene, perhaps Riho and Mayumi are a pair of friendly but competitive colleagues who simply want to determine who the better woman is. You say that one woman has a weight advantage, but I think it's negligible; if 10 hypothetical matches were held, I could see each of these ladies taking her share of the victories. That said, the match would be closely contested, going a full ten rounds, with the winner grateful to hear her rival finally counted to ten. Immediately afterward, the two would have a sympathy session (if you know what I mean) to show that there are no hard feelings, removing those sweat-soaked shorts.
In terms of the punches (the meat and potatoes of any femfight piece), consider some of the images from the classic Elmtown Chronicles (posted in its entirety on Drew Hammond's DeviantArt gallery). It has some wonderful boxing poses that highlight both the ferocity of the sport and the feminine physique. I know most enthusiasts love blows to the breasts, but I'm rather partial to the gut and the crotch. You should make one good jab to the face, one low blow (followed by a stern warning from the referee), and a finishing uppercut through the jugs for good measure.
Feel free to keep me posted on the project, my e-mail is timothylordofjapan@yahoo.com. And if you ever get around to my wrestling request, you may find yourself handsomely rewarded. :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Tim! I'm actually a fan of Drew's archives and the many femfighting artists on DA. I hadn't heard of the gallery you pointed out though, so thank you for mentioning it. I'm largely thinking within the context of a single render right now, but I'm still conscious of popular fight themes.
As far as some of my initial perceptions for the proposed bout go (based off both canon and non-canon references)...Riho would likely field stronger blows (especially her uppercuts) and withstand more punishment. Mayumi may not have the same degree of resilience, but would probably focus on picking apart defenses and disrupting pace. Both fighters should have similar agility though, adding to the many contrasts that make this match interesting. These ladies could definitely go the 10 round distance (I don't think anything less would do), but this would be one grueling fight.
I'm certain we'll be talking again. Please be sure to check your email (hopefully spam filters won't be a problem).
